Riding around the North Shore with Michelle Pittam
Michelle Pittam was born and raised on the North Shore of Vancouver. An avid mountain biker since age 7, she is now riding and working for Knolly Bikes. Growing up appreciating the mountains has also led her to branch into photography. When she is not biking, she can be found surfing on the west coast, skateboarding, or skiing the local mountains, taking photos along the way.

and came around a corner to see this great view from above. I told Brandon to keep riding and
snapped this bird's eye view photo of him riding the lower section of the trail.”

Trail: Big Stupid
Rider: Bella Roeleveld
“Bella throwing some style on a classic feature on Big Stupid. Funny story with this
one…immediately after this photo was taken I decided to give it a go. After having ridden it for
many years I didn’t think anything of it. Right before the end of the ladder bridge my gears
skipped, and my feet fell off the pedals. In a last second decision, I proceeded to jump off the ladder bridge with the bike between my legs and landed on the top tube of my bike. We have since then renamed this feature to the “Clam Jam”.
