The heart of Northern BC
Bulkley Nechako covers a vast area across the center of Northern BC from the rolling hills of Vanderhoof in the east to the towering mountains surrounding Smithers in the west and with Highway 16 tethering the many picturesque hamlets in between. Smithers and Burns Lake have already made a name for themselves as legitimate mountain biking destinations within the Bulkley Nechako, however, there are some lesser-known towns that are vying for some of that notoriety.
Vanderhoof, Fort St. James, and Houston have each developed their own unique character when it comes to mountain biking driven by the passion of local riders and the diverse landscapes found across the region.
