Retallack was built by riders for riders. With a maximum of 24 people on the tenure at a time - you will not be encountering crowds, lineups, and beat-up trail conditions. Retallack Lodge will allow you to maximize your potential as a rider. Retallack's tenure is home to over 100 km (62 mi) of sweet single track and 1828m (6,000ft) of vertical that is accessed with retrofitted 4x4 military personnel carriers and helicopters. From machine-built jump lines in the Alpine to old school hand-built trails in the Treeline - Retallack's trail network offers a myriad of different MTB experiences for every type of gravity rider.

Truly a one-of-a-kind mountain biking experience, where everything is curated to suit the modern adventurist. Retallack Lodge is a stand-alone MTB experience that centers you deep in the Selkirk Wilderness with like-minded riders. Led by a world-class Professional Guiding Team, you will have exclusive access to a meticulously maintained trail network, a state-of-the-art timber frame lodge, gourmet meals, and a friendly front-end staff at the end of a big day. Whether you want to relax with a fire set on the Kaslo River, take advantage of a hot tub, sauna, and/or massage program, or keep the adventure going with a host of other activities including, Ping Pong, Indo Jenga, Neglin, and Disc Golf - Retallack Lodge will keep you busy from the time you arrive right up until you roll out.

Getting Here & Trail Access

Retallack is remote and that's the thrill of it. Guests have a range of options for reaching the lodge.

The nearest major Canadian cities are Calgary to the east and Vancouver to the west. Nelson, in BC’s Kootenay Rockies region, is the closest town to the lodge. Guest can drive on well maintained highways and gravel roads to reach the lodge.

Travel Distances & Times:

  • Kelowna - 305 km (190 mi), 4 hours 20 minutes (approx.)
  • Spokane - 335 km (208 mi), 4 hours 30 minutes (approx.)
  • Calgary - 578 km (400 mi), 7 hours 20 minutes (approx.)
  • Vancouver - 700 km (435 mi), 9 hours

Air Canada offers daily flights from Vancouver and Calgary to West Kootenay Regional Airport in Castlegar and the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) . Pacific Coastal offers daily flights from Vancouver to Trail.

If you are travelling from the US, Spokane is a good option with another international airport.

All trails at Retallack are accessed by guests of the lodge via helicopter or shuttle.
