Unsurpassed Backcountry Terrain
If you’re looking for a bucket list mountain bike trip, then Retallack should be at the top. With the largest commercial backcountry mountain bike terrain in the world—over 1.5 million acres of tenure—this is the place to go for an unforgettable biking adventure. Situated in the Selkirk and Purcell mountains of the West Kootenays, Retallack offers more than 100 km (62 mi) of singletrack trails across heavenly alpine terrain. The longest trail, with over 6,000 ft (1,828 m) of vertical, is the highlight in the region, and will leave bikers with an adrenaline rush to remember.
Lodge guests have access to a personal shuttle and helicopter drops (weather permitted) to access biking terrain and guests are guaranteed 10-15 runs per day. Every trip is fully-guided, with the support of a shuttle stocked with snacks, lunch, and beverages. After a full day on the trails, you can après at the bar, relax in the hot tub, get pampered with a massage, fuel up on gourmet meals, or head for the sauna.
